The Ancient Civilization is a major academic publication jointly sponsored by the Research Center for Chinese Archaeology at Peking University and the Zhen Dan Research Center for Ancient Civilization at Peking University since 2002. The purpose is to promote further in-depth research of ancient civilizations and to timely reflect the latest research findings. We cordially invite scholars from both China and abroad to contribute their significant works. Manuscripts should primarily be academic articles related to the study of ancient Chinese civilization (including archaeology, history, art history, history of science, history of thought, among many others), and contributions on other ancient civilizations are also very welcome. The length of the manuscripts should be approximately 5,000 to 25,000 characters, with related images included as necessary. Submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process, and once published, an honorarium will be provided.
