The Comparative literature & world literature (Academic Collection of the Chinese Comparative Literature Association) is a comprehensive academic collection in the humanities and social sciences, focusing on research in comparative literature and world literature, sponsored by the Chinese Comparative Literature Association. To facilitate writing for authors and reading for readers, the submission guidelines are specified as follows:

1. Submissions should preferably be under 15,000 characters. Articles under 10,000 characters that are concise, yet well-argued, are welcome. Papers discussing significant theoretical issues or important academic questions may be allowed a slightly longer length. Please include a Chinese abstract (about 300-400 characters) and an English abstract (which can differ from the Chinese abstract, not necessarily a direct translation, about 200 English words), keywords (3-5), and author information (including name, affiliation, degree, title) before the main text. If the submission is part of a research fund project undertaken by the author, please specify the project name and number.

2. For humanities papers, there is no longer a distinction between notes (further explanations or supplementary information on a certain content of the article, or the author's elaboration of their own views) and references; both are placed on the current page in the form of footnotes. For social science papers, notes and references can still be separated, with references at the end of the document using the "Author-Year" system.

3. Entries for notes and references must be complete (no need to add document identification codes).

Monographs: Principal author, title of the document, place of publication, publishing entity, year of publication, page numbers.

Translations: Country of the original author, original author, title of the document, translator's name, place of publication, publishing entity, year of publication, page numbers.

Journal articles: Principal author, title of the document, journal name, year, volume (issue): page numbers.

4. References in foreign languages should be in the original language, with consistent font for authors, book titles, and journal names, using regular script; descriptions in Chinese of foreign works, such as "Oxford University Press, Some Book, Some Year Edition," are not allowed.

5. Please send one electronic copy and one hard copy of the submission. Email the electronic copy to: clwlcontribution@163.com; mail the hard copy to: Secretary Office of the Chinese Comparative Literature Association, Institute of Comparative Literature and Comparative Culture, Peking University, [100871] Beijing. Please include a detailed mailing address (including street name), postal code, and contact telephone number.
