1. Submission Requirements and Notes

1.1 Submissions should be innovative, scientific, directional, and practical, with theoretical and practical significance. The data should be authentic, the arguments clear, the structure rigorous, the writing smooth, and the presentation neat and standardized. Articles and reviews are generally around 5000 words (including abstracts, figures, tables, and references), while experience summaries and case reports should not exceed 1500 words.

1.2 Submissions must include a letter of recommendation from the institution. It should be stated that the manuscript is not submitted elsewhere, does not involve confidentiality, and the authorship is undisputed. Two copies of the submission are required, printed on both sides of A4 paper. Articles and reviews should provide an English title, English abstract, English keywords, the author's name in Pinyin, and the English name of the author's institution. The journal will adopt online peer review, so authors should send the electronic version of the manuscript (including images) as an attachment to the editorial department while also sending the required materials by mail. The submission date is based on the date the mailed submission is received. Please keep a copy of the manuscript.

1.3 The journal follows a three-review system based on peer review (editorial preliminary review, external expert review, editorial board final review), and a processing fee of 40 RMB per submission is required. After confirmation of publication, authors need to pay the page fee as notified. Authors will receive remuneration after publication and two complimentary copies of the current issue. All accepted manuscripts will be published in electronic and CD formats. The remuneration includes fees for the electronic and CD versions.

1.4 If the paper is funded by national, ministerial, provincial, or other major funds, please footnote this information on the lower left corner of the title page and attach a copy of the funding certificate.

1.5 According to the ""Copyright Law,"" if a submission does not receive a manuscript processing notification within 3 months after receiving the journal's acknowledgment, it indicates that the manuscript is still under review. If considering submitting elsewhere, please contact the editorial department first and avoid submitting the same manuscript to multiple sources.

1.6 Authors are responsible for the content of their submissions. In accordance with the ""Copyright Law,"" the journal may make textual modifications and deletions to accepted manuscripts. If modifications affect the original intent, authors will be consulted. Once the accepted manuscript is preliminarily edited based on revision suggestions, authors should send the revised manuscript in PDF or Word format (including images and tables) via email to the journal to expedite the process and reduce errors. Authors should also send printed copies of the revised manuscript, images, tables, and the original manuscript back to the editorial department.

1.7 Upon acceptance for publication, each author must personally sign the exclusive copyright license and exclusive agency authorization form for the paper. The exclusive rights belong to the Chinese Medical Association, and no part of the paper may be reproduced elsewhere without their consent.

1.8 The journal provides an ""Express Lane"" for significant research results. For papers requesting publication through the ""Express Lane,"" authors should provide a written explanation of the paper's innovation, a plagiarism report, two recommendation letters from experts in the field, and a review fee. Once approved, papers published through the ""Express Lane"" are typically published within 4 months of submission.
