The Chinese Journal of Drug Dependence is a bimonthly publication that features scientific research articles on drug dependence, drug abuse, and related disease prevention and treatment. It covers research results in experimental, clinical, epidemiological, psychological, sociological, and management aspects, as well as reviews, lectures, theoretical and practical discussions, and domestic and international research trends. The submission requirements are outlined briefly as follows:

1. Format

1.1 Front Matter

Title: The title should be concise and reflect the important specific content of the paper, generally not exceeding 25 words.

Author Information: Submissions should include the full names of all authors, their affiliations, postal codes, contact information, and author bios.

Abstract: The abstract should be independent and self-explanatory, providing necessary information without reading the full text. It typically includes the purpose, methods, results, and conclusions within around 400 words. An indicative abstract should be around 150 words. An English abstract corresponding to the Chinese abstract is required.

Keywords: These represent the main themes of the paper, with 3-8 keywords provided per article. Keywords should be meaningful for retrieval and avoid overly general terms like ""methods,"" ""theory,"" ""analysis,"" etc.

Funding: The name of the funding source and project number should be provided, along with relevant proof during submission.

1.2 Body

The body of the text should be scientifically reasonable, objectively true, accurate, complete, logically structured, and smoothly written. It typically includes an introduction, main body, conclusion, and references.

Introduction: This section usually includes the background, purpose, rationale, expected results, and significance of the research. The introduction should be concise, highlighting key points and innovations, objectively reviewing previous research, and presenting the author's own contributions truthfully.

Main Body: This section should comprehensively describe the theoretical framework, methods, hypotheses, techniques, processes, parameters, equipment, instruments, materials, or research subjects used in the study. It should detail the research process, steps, results, provide necessary illustrations, tables, formulas, data, and offer appropriate explanations and discussions. The main body is typically structured into logical chapters such as research objectives, materials and methods, results, and discussion.

Conclusion: The conclusion should summarize the research results and arguments concisely and objectively, avoiding simple repetition of the abstract or main sections. It should be objective, accurate, concise, and complete.

References: Relevant references closely related to the research topic should be cited in the paper. References should be sequentially numbered and placed at the end of the document.

2. Submission

When submitting a paper, please include a letter of introduction from your institution and declare that the paper has not been submitted elsewhere. If the paper has been previously published in a non-publicly distributed journal or presented at an academic conference, please indicate this. The typical length of the paper is around 6000 words (including Chinese and English abstracts, keywords, figures, tables, and references).

Submissions should be sent to the editorial department's email. After peer review approval for publication, if any content needs modification or supplementation, authors must send the revised manuscript along with the revision comments via email to the editorial department. If authors do not agree to online publication of the article, please specify this during submission.
