The journal gives priority to manuscripts of moderate length, encourages submissions that establish academic propositions, achieve academic innovation, meet academic standards, and adhere to academic norms. In principle, co-authorship is discouraged. The journal advocates for submissions rooted in Chinese issues and welcomes comparative legal studies, but does not welcome submissions solely promoting a foreign legal system, institution, or practice for alternative legal education of readers. The journal sincerely welcomes original contributions from overseas peers, but does not publish translated versions of academic papers already published in foreign academic journals.
